About Christopher Bonavico

A founding member of Jackson Square Partners, Christopher Bonavico has worked as an analyst and portfolio manager with the institutional asset management firm since 2014. Recognized for his flexible thinking and strong foresight, Christopher “Chris” Bonavico seeks unrecognized opportunities in small and large companies with potential for long-term growth, then creates bottom-up portfolios that take into account each client's risk tolerance. With his contributions, the company manages more than $20 billion in assets. From 2005 to 2004, Mr. Bonavico served as a portfolio manager of the Delaware Investments Focused Growth Equity team. Before that, he was a principal and portfolio manager at Transamerica Investment Management. Earlier in his career, he spent time as a research analyst with Salomon Brothers, where he built financial models and published research reports on global telecommunications companies. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a bachelor of science in economics, Chris Bonavico is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. Outside of work, he enjoys exercise, travel, listening to live music, and spending time with his daughters. An avid traveler, he has visited approximately 55 countries.
